Stone Barn, Central Virginia

This stone and timber frame barn and accompanying port cochére was photographed for New Energy Works Timberframes and their sister company, Pioneer Millwork of Farmington, NY. The property owner also joined the shoot. The goal for the photography was to illustrate the scale and scope of the building as well as the setting with rolling views towards the Blue Ridge Mountains. The owner engaged local artisans to prduce custom masonry, metal work, and spectacular Venetian plaster in the port cochere. Publication options are currently pending, though the project does feature in New Energyworks’ 2024 printed calendar.
